Hochschild Mining PLC07 June 2007 7 June 2007 Hochschild Mining plc Confirms Dividend Arrangements The Board of Directors of Hochschild Mining plc (the "Company") confirms thearrangements of its final dividend of US$0.0074 per Ordinary Share, which wasannounced on 20 March 2007 in respect of the year ended 31 December 2006.Subject to the approval of shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meetingto be held on 4 July 2007, the final dividend will be paid out in UK poundssterling on 6 July 2007 to those shareholders on the register on 15 June 2007. Shareholders may elect to receive the dividend in US dollars if they wish. TheBoard has determined that the exchange rate to be applied to convert thedividend into US dollars will be based on the average exchange rate for the fivebusiness days prior to 15 June 2007. The exchange rate to be applied will beannounced on the London Stock Exchange RNS as soon as possible after 15 June2007. Shareholders wishing to receive their dividend in US dollars should notify theCompany's registrars by 19 June 2007 using the currency election form sent toshareholders on 25 May 2007. The Company's registrars can also arrange fordividends to be paid directly into shareholders' UK bank accounts. Thisarrangement will only be available in respect of dividends paid in UK poundssterling.
