Interim Dividend for 2009
Scrip Dividend Alternative
On 27 August 2009 the Directors of the Company announced an interim dividend for the six months to 30 June 2009 of 0.75 pence per ordinary share of 1p each payable on 6 November 2009 to shareholders on the Register on 2 October 2009.
The Market Value for the issue of ordinary shares under the scrip dividend alternative is 73 pence for each ordinary share. The Market Value is calculated as the average of the middle market quotation for the ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange as derived from the Daily Official List for the five business days beginning on 30 September 2009 (the day on which the shares were first quoted ex-dividend).
