Interim 2020 Dividend and Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative - Correction

The following amendment has been made to the Interim 2020 Dividend and Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative announcement released on 8 December 2020 at 13:15 under RNS No 9480H.

Therefore, 225,830,124 New Shares will be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, rather than 189,816,827 New Shares admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange and 36,013,297 New Shares admitted to trading on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, as stated in the main body of the announcement.

All other details remain unchanged.

Interim 2020 Dividend and Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative

Further to the announcement of the Interim 2020 Dividend and the Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative on 11 November 2020, the Board of Hammerson plc (the Company) announced that valid elections to participate in the Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative were received from Shareholders holding 3,108,216,704 Shares. Accordingly, the number of New Shares to be issued under the Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative is 225,830,124.

Therefore, 225,830,124 New Shares will be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, bringing the total number of issued 5 pence ordinary shares in the Company to 4,057,298,174.

The New Shares are expected to be issued and admitted to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange on 18 December 2020. A further announcement will be released to confirm when those New Shares have been issued and admitted to trading on the respective stock exchange. Unless otherwise stated, capitalised terms in this announcement shall have the meanings given to them in the Circular dated 11 November 2020 in connection with the proposed Interim 2020 Dividend and Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative which can be found at: https://www.hammerson.com/investors/shareholderinformation/general-meeting.
