VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL
In accordance with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Halma plc ('Halma') confirms that the total number of ordinary 10 pence shares of Halma in issue at 30 September 2012 is 378,687,752. The change results from the issue of shares to meet the exercise of options under the Company's share option plans and the transfer and sale of treasury shares to fulfil awards vesting under the Performance Share Plan.
Halma holds 809,732 shares in treasury.
Therefore the total number of voting rights in Halma is 377,878,020.
The above figure of 377,878,020 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Halma under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
