INTEREST NOTIFIED UNDER SECTION 198 COMPANIES ACT 1985 Halma p.l.c. has received the following notification dated 15 January 2007 from Silchester InternationalInvestors Limited. Silchester International Investors Limited acts as an Investment Manager for a number of commingledfunds. In acting for its clients, Silchester are given full discretion over their investments, and areempowered to vote on their behalf. However, Silchester do not act as their Custodian, and thereforeshares are not held in the name of Silchester, but in the nominee name of its clients' Custodian bank.
