Notification under paragraphs 3.1.2R to 3.1.4R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules

Hill & Smith Holdings PLC ("Hill & Smith" or the "Company") announces that it has today received notification that Mrs D Muir, the spouse of Mr D W Muir, being a person discharging managerial responsibilities of Hill & Smith, purchased 3,000 ordinary shares in the Company earlier today at 249.29 pence per share.  This purchase was effected on PLUS Markets.

Following this purchase, Mr Muir is beneficially interested in 15,834 ordinary shares and has options over 258,114 ordinary shares.
