Hill & SmithΒ announces that itΒ hasΒ todayΒ made an application to the UKΒ Listing Authority forΒ 981,167 Ordinary Shares of 25Β pence eachΒ (the "New Ordinary Shares")Β to be admitted to the OfficialΒ List andΒ has also appliedΒ forΒ the New Ordinary SharesΒ to be admitted to trading on the LondonΒ Stock Exchange's market for listed securities.
The application comprises a blockΒ listing ofΒ 981,167Β Ordinary SharesΒ in respect of theΒ Company's SavingsΒ Related Share Option Scheme. The New Ordinary Shares will, on issue, rankΒ pari passuΒ with the Company's existing ordinary shares.
It is expected that admission of theΒ New Ordinary Shares will become effectiveΒ onΒ or aroundΒ 27Β MarchΒ 2009.
