Dividend declaration

Further to the announcement by HgCapital Trust plc on 9 February 2010, the Board has declared an interim dividend of 25.0 pence per ordinary share. This is in place of a final dividend which will have the effect of accelerating the dividend payment to shareholders. The interim dividend will be paid on 31 March 2010 to shareholders on the register as at the close of business on 26 February 2010. The corresponding ex-dividend date will be 24 February 2010.
