Further to the announcement made on 10 March 2023 regarding Mark Chapman, Haydale is pleased to announce the appointment today of Patrick Carter as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") with immediate effect.

Patrick is a chartered accountant and a qualified barrister-at-law. Patrick started his career at Deloitte and has previously held senior and board positions as CFO, leading finance teams at Aukett Swanke plc, Charteris plc and, more recently, at a number of private equity backed renewable energy companies.

Accordingly, Mark Chapman's resignation from the Board has now become effective, though Mark will remain with the Company for a short period to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.

The following information regarding the appointment of Patrick James Carter, aged 53, is disclosed under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies:

Mr Carter was a director of Tidal Lagoon Plc and Tidal Lagoon Power Ltd which were both put into company voluntary arrangements ("CVA") on 4 September 2018. The deadline for completion on each has been extended to 4 September 2023. At the last statement of affairs dated 27 October 2022 the companies had received creditor claims of c£5.0m and c£2.3m respectively, though it is noted the CVAs are still ongoing.

There are no further disclosures to be made under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
