Posting of Circular and Notice of General Meeting
Nighthawk, the US focused oil development and production company (AIM: HAWK and OTCQX: NHEGY), announces that, further to the announcement on 28 December 2011 concerning the proposed acquisition of a 25% working interest in, and operatorship of, the Jolly Ranch Project, together with the associated fundraising, a circular containing further details of the acquisition, issue of convertible loan notes and warrants, open offer to shareholders and the proposed placing and incorporating a notice of general meeting, has today been posted to shareholders.
The general meeting is to be held at 11.00 a.m. on 20 January 2012 at the offices of FTI Consulting, Holborn Gate, 26 Southampton Buildings, London WC2A 1PB.
A copy of the circular will be available later today on the Company's website at www.nighthawkenergy.com.
