Issue of Equity and Total Voting Rights
Nighthawk, the US focused oil development and production company (AIM: HAWK and OTCQX: NHEGY), announces that it has received a conversion notice from a former employee to exercise share options over 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 0.25 pence each (the "Option Shares"). The Option Shares have an exercise price of 8 pence per Option Share. Application has been made for the Option Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that this will take place on or around 15 October 2013.
Following the issue of the Option Shares, Nighthawk will have 946,435,420 Ordinary Shares in issue, which will also represent the total number of voting rights in the Company. This figure should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
