('H&T' or 'The Company')

AGM Statement

At the Annual General Meeting to be held today at 11 a.m., Peter Middleton, H&T's Chairman, will make the following statement in respect of H&T's current trading:

The Company's underlying business has traded in line with management's expectations in the year to date. The continued strength in the gold price has resulted in higher revenue from gold scrap contributing to higher profits than previously anticipated.
