Appointment to the Board of Chief Operating Officer

The Gym Group plc (the 'Company' or 'The Gym Group'), the nationwide operator of 204 low cost, high quality, 24/7 no contract gyms, announces the appointment of Ann-marie Murphy, the Chief Operating Officer, to the Board of Directors of the Company as an Executive Director with effect from 11 April 2022.

Ann-marie joined the Company in April 2018 as Director of People and Development and was appointed as Chief People Officer in January 2021. Ann-marie was subsequently appointed as Chief Operating Officer in February 2022.

Prior to joining The Gym Group, Ann-marie was Group Human Resources Director at New Look Retailers.
