Contract gain

GETECH Group plc (AIM: GTC), a leading geosciences business specialising in the provision of data, studies and interpretation services to the oil, gas and mining exploration sectors, announces a significant new contract.

The Company has signed a major new proprietary interpretation contract under which it will apply its full range of geosciences capabilities in order to obtain a better understanding of the subsurface structures and petroleum systems within a continental margin basinal system.

The contract will generate gross revenue of $1,100,000, the majority of which is anticipated to fall in the current financial year.

Raymond Wolfson, the Chief Executive, commented "This contract is particularly exciting because not only is it our first with this client but it is also the first large proprietary contract that combines and integrates our traditional geophysics skills with our recently developed geological analysis and interpretation capabilities."
