Update

 

 

Global Resources Investment Trust Plc (''GRIT'') has been advised by Anglo African Minerals plc (''AAM'') that negotiations between Makar Navis and AAM regarding the sale of the company, as described in our announcement of 30 August 2019, have been terminated.

 

AAM has informed GRIT that discussions with other interested parties continue and that it is in the process of appointing advisors to help devise an appropriate strategy to realise the value in AAM.

 

Whilst GRIT remains hopeful of concluding a transaction in respect of its holding in AAM, it is also examining other opportunities and would hope to be in a position to update the market in the near future.
