Genus PLC28 February 2006 Genus plc ("the Company") Additional Listing Application has been made to the Alternative Investment Market of the LondonStock Exchange ("AIM") for a blocklisting on 1,288,916 ordinary shares of 10peach to be admitted to trading on AIM. These shares, ranking pari passu in all respects with the existing shares inissue, will be allotted pursuant to the exercise of options and to the rules ofthe following schemes: Genus plc 1996 Executive Plan 15,600 sharesGenus plc 1999 Executive Plan 91,800 sharesGenus plc 2000 Company Share Plan Part A 34,807 sharesGenus plc 2000 Company Share Plan Part B 293,969 sharesGenus plc 2004 Company Share Plan Part A 155,634 sharesGenus plc 2004 Company Share Plan Part B 697,106 shares These shares will not be allotted immediately but as and when the scheme rulesallow.
