Additional Listing to Correct Historical Discrepancy
Genus plc (LSE: GNS) today announces that an application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the admission of 925,320 ordinary shares of 10p each ('Ordinary Shares') in Genus in order to correct a historical discrepancy between its issued share capital and the share capital recorded as having been admitted to the Official List. The discrepancy relates to an oversight on a block listing application and arose at the time of the transfer of Genus's listing from AIM to the Main Market in 2007. It is expected that the 925,320 Ordinary Shares will be admitted to the Official List on 20 November 2017.
No new Ordinary Shares have been issued or allotted and Genus confirms that its issued share capital consists of 61,535,098 Ordinary Shares as at 14 November 2017.
