New biofuels plant signed; biofuels LOB progressing well

PDX (AIM:PDX) is pleased to announce today the signing of an agreement with Marquis Energy LLC ("Marquis") to install the Ethanol Reactor System ("ERS") at its plant in Wisconsin, USA, with a capacity of 50 million US Gallons per annum ("Gpa").

Today's agreement enables PDX to install the ERS and determine its performance at the plant. Subject to satisfactory operational validation, the next stage of the process will be the agreement of commercial terms and the commencement of revenues.

This is the second Marquis plant to install the ERS - its plant at Hennepin, IL, USA commenced commercial operation on 14 June 2011 and is operating in Optimization mode. Marquis has also confirmed that the PDX ERS will be part of its standard operational equipment going forward. The Marquis Energy plants are considered to be amongst the best performing plants in the USA.

The signing of today's agreement will bring the total number of plants installed or contracted to be installed to 14, with a total capacity of approximately 1 billion Gpa.
