Gleeson(M J)Group PLC18 April 2006 MJ GLEESON GROUP PLC (the "Company") 18 April 2006 Notification of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities E J Lawrie, Company Secretary, on 13 April 2006 exercised options over 10,500shares at an option price of £1.38 per share. These options were granted on 20January 2000 under the Gleeson Group Executive Share option Scheme (1991). Onthe same day 3,567 shares were sold by E J Lawrie and a further 3,567 weretransferred to and sold by his wife, in all a total of 7,134 shares.
