Gresham Technologies plc (LSE: "GHT", "Gresham", "Company"), the leading software and services company that specialises in providing solutions for data integrity and control, banking integration, payments and cash management, hereby announces that it is writing to all registered shareholders regarding its intention to adopt electronic communication methods for shareholder documents.

The Companies Act 2006 allows companies to communicate electronically with shareholders who have consented to receive information in that manner. The Company's articles of association were updated to allow for this method of communication following approval by shareholders at the Company's annual general meeting held in 2008.

Communicating with shareholders electronically will help make Gresham more environmentally friendly, by reducing waste and pollution, and cutting production and distribution costs, as well as enabling Gresham to deliver relevant information to shareholders, in a timely, convenient and more cost-effective form.

A shareholder communications letter, setting out the options available to shareholders, is being sent to shareholders on the register as at 22 January 2020. Shareholders wishing to continue to receive shareholder documents in printed form will need to notify the Company's registrar, Equiniti, by no later than 2 March 2020, by completing and returning the response form included in the letter.

Shareholders who do not return the response form will be deemed to have consented to receiving shareholder documents by means of Gresham's website at www.greshamtech.com and will no longer receive printed documentation.
