Fremont Facility Update

Gooch & Housego PLC (AIM:GHH), the specialist manufacturer of optical components and systems, announces that it has temporarily closed its Fremont, California facility until 7 April 2020. This follows a legal order issued by the public health officers of Alameda county, California requiring all residents of the county to shelter at home for three weeks beginning 17 March 2020 in order to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

During this period staff from the Fremont facility who are able to homework will do so.

This action will shift the balance of revenue generated at our Fremont site to an increased H2 weighting.
