David Bauernfeind

Gooch & Housego PLC (AIM: GHH), the specialist manufacturer of optical components and systems, announces with great sadness the passing of David Bauernfeind, a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chairman of the Company, in a tragic accident on Thursday 26 December whilst on holiday with his family. David has been a non-executive member of the Board of Directors since May 2017. 

Gary Bullard, Chairman of Gooch & Housego, said:

"We are very saddened by the loss of David who has played an integral role at Gooch & Housego; his expertise and contribution to the Company will be missed. On a personal front, David was hugely liked by us all and we will miss him sorely. Our thoughts go to his family and loved ones."
