Director's Dealing of Shares

Gem Diamonds, LSE: GEMD, the FTSE 250 listed diamond producer, announces that it was notified by Mr Gavin Beevers , a Non-Executive Director of the Company, that he purchased 13,500 ordinary shares at an average price of 286.28 pence per share for a total consideration of  £38,647.24 on the 21st October, 2008.  His holding of ordinary shares in the Company has increased to 148,164 shares, representing approximately 0.24% of the Company's issued shared capital.
