Great Eastern Energy Corporation Limited, a company involved in the exploration, development and production of Coal Bed Methane in India announces that today Mr. Yogendra Kr. Modi, Chairman & CEO, and Mr. Prashant Modi, President & COO via an inter se transaction transferred to themselves 10 (ten only) equity shares each of face value of Rs. 10 (each equity share is equivalent to 2 GDRs) at a price Rs. 655 per share from YKM Holdings Private Ltd. This translates to a price of 450 pence per GDR.
This is an inter se transfer between family holdings and there is no change in the overall interest of Mr. Yogendra Kr. Modi and Mr. Prashant Modi, which together represents 60.48% of the total issued share capital of Great Eastern.
