 Result of Placing

Further to the announcement this morning in relation to a proposed placing and subscription of ordinary shares, GCM Resources plc (LON: GCM) (the "Company" or "GCM"), an AIM quoted mining and energy company, is pleased to announce that it has successfully placed 20,000,000 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each (the "Placing Shares") with institutional and professional investors at a price of 2.5 pence per share (the "Issue Price") via an accelerated bookbuild (the "Placing"). The Placing has raised gross proceeds of £0.5 million.

Admission and Total Voting Rights

Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange for admission of the Placing Shares to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will become effective and dealings in the Placing Shares commence on AIM at 8.00 a.m. on 21 June 2023 (or such later date as may be agreed between the Company and WH Ireland, but no later than 30 June 2023).

The Placing Shares will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares.

Following Admission, the total number of Ordinary Shares in the capital of the Company in issue will be 207,522,036 with voting rights. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company's share capital pursuant to the Company's Articles.
