Asia Energy PLC05 December 2005 Asia Energy PLC ("the Company") Participation of Directors in Cash Placing On 29 November 2005, Asia Energy PLC announced that 6,740,000 new ordinaryshares had been placed at a placing price of 450 pence per share, of which4,143,976 shares were placed firm ("Firm Placing Shares") and 2,596,024 wereplaced conditionally ("Conditional Placing Shares") subject to shareholderapproval of certain resolutions to be proposed at an EGM which has been convenedfor 22 December 2005. As noted in the placing announcement, certain Directors ofthe Company participated in the Firm Placing Shares and Conditional PlacingShares.
