AGM Statement

GB Group Plc, the identity management specialist, will be holding its Annual General Meeting today. At the meeting, Chairman, David Rasche, will provide the following statement:

"The Company continues to make good progress in the first four months of the financial year with the Group performing well against our expectations, delivering both organic and acquisitive growth.

DataAuthentication, GB Group's identity verification business, continues to benefit from new customers and increased business from newly introduced software and services.

DataSolutions, GB Group's provider of identity based marketing services, has invested in sales resources and product differentiation and we are confident that it is well positioned to address its developing markets.

The recent acquisition of DataDiscoveries is being integrated and continues to meet our expectations at the time of its acquisition.

In addition, we have today announced the acquisition of Advanced Services Checking Ltd ("ACS"), a business involved in driving licence checking, for the purpose of compliance with health & safety and corporate manslaughter legislation, which will complement our products and services in DataAuthentication. A separate announcement in relation to this acquisition was released this morning.

We continue to seek other development and acquisition opportunities, concentrating on our core competence of identity management.

The Board remains confident that GB Group will perform in line with expectations this year and with GB's end markets linked to a growing emphasis on online identity for enterprise needs, we believe that long term trends favour the Group."

The Group will be announcing its half year results for the six months ended 30 September 2011 on 30 November 2011.
