Sub.: Change in Directorship: Appointment & Cessation of Part-time Director (Government Nominee)
This is to inform that Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India vide letter no. C-31033/1/2016-CA/FTS: 42979 dated 27.05.2019 has appointed Shri Ashutosh Jindal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India as Part-time Director (Government Nominee Director (DIN 05286122) of the Company w.e.f. 27.05.2019 in place of Smt. Indrani Kaushal, Part-time Director (Government Nominee Director) (DIN-02091078)
The information pertaining to Shri Ashutosh Jindal is as under:
1. Brief profile
Mr. Ashutosh Jindal serves as Joint Secretary of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. Mr. Jindal is an IAS Officer from Manipur - Tripura cadre (1995). Mr. Jindal holds BE in Electronics & Communication Engineering and has a Post-Graduation in Economics
During his career spanning over two decades, he has held various positions in the state of Tripura at the district and State Level.
Before joining MoP&NG, he was a Secretary of Finance, Urban development and Tourism Departments in the State of Tripura. He served as an Advisor in the Indian Mission to European Union (EU) in Brussels (Belgium).
Currently he is a Government Nominee Director of Indian Oil Corporation Limited since 12.02.2016, Tripura Power Generation Limited since 28.01.2015 & Tripura Tourism Development Corporation Limited since 01.09.2011.
He served as a Government Director of ONGC Videsh Ltd. from 03.08.2015 to 07.01.2016 and of
GAIL (India) Limited from 24.02.2015 to 23.12.2016. He also served as a Director in Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited from 26.07.2014 to 04.04.2015.
2. Disclosure of relationships between Directors
Shri Ashutosh Jindal does not have any relation inter-se with other Director(s) of the Company
3. Further with respect to SEBI Instructions dated 14.06.2018, it is affirm that Shri Ashutosh Jindal is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other such authority.
This is in compliance of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
