New Contract Award

Filtronic wins first significant order with leading provider of low latency private networks

Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of products and sub-systems for the aerospace, defence, telecoms infrastructure, space, and critical communications markets, is pleased to announce a new contract win with a leading global provider of low latency private networks.

The contract is valued at $0.8m (£0.6m), with revenue expected to be recognised in FY2024, requiring design, development and manufacture of high-performance power amplifier modules for incorporation into next generation point-to-point microwave radios. The client operates high-performance microwave and mmWave private networks and has chosen Filtronic to ensure that best-in-class transmit power and linearity is achieved in their planned network upgrade, by leveraging Filtronic's proven expertise in radio modules.
