Formation Group PLC30 May 2006 FORMATION GROUP PLC ("Formation" or "the Company") Contract with FIFA to manage the FIFA Interactive World Cup Formation is pleased to announce that its sports marketing agency business,Active Sports Marketing Ltd ("Active Sports Marketing"), has agreed a four yearcontract with the international governing body of football, FIFA. The contractis to manage FIFA's worldwide video gaming tournament, the FIFA InteractiveWorld Cup ("FIWC"). The contract commences on 1 January 2007 and represents arenewal of Active Sports Marketing's existing contract with FIFA to manage thisevent. The FIFA Interactive World Cup is an annual competition to find the bestfootball computer games players on an international basis. The tournament takesplace across 21 countries, with thousands of computer games playersparticipating. Under the terms of the contract, Active Sports Marketing will actas lead management agency for FIWC responsible for the event management processand the promotion of this interactive football tournament.
