Flowgroup plc (AIM: FLOW), which provides a range of innovative energy technologies, energy supply and energy services, announces the appointment of Andrew Beasley, Managing Director of Flow Energy, to the Board of Flowgroup plc as an Executive Director, with immediate effect.

Andrew Beasley has held a number of senior roles in the Energy industry before joining Flow Energy as Managing Director in 2012, becoming Group Commercial Director and Managing Director of Flow Energy in 2014.

Commenting, Tony Stiff, Group Chief Executive Officer, said: "Andy's appointment to the Board reflects his major contribution to the successful development of the Flow Energy business and the important role this division has in the future growth of our Company. The announcement earlier today of an extended credit energy supply agreement with Shell without the need for cash margining, significantly improves our cashflow and will help drive the future growth of Flow Energy. Andy and his team are on target to meet our accelerated growth plans to reach 100,000 customer accounts by the end of the year."
