FLETCHER KING PLC

PROPOSED SPECIAL INTERIM DIVIDEND

The board of Fletcher King plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it proposes to make a special interim dividend payment of 1p per ordinary share. As mentioned in the Chairman's Statement in the Half Yearly Report announced by the Company on 17 December 2009, this payment will take the place of a final dividend in respect of the year ending 30 April 2010.

The relevant dates for the proposed special interim dividend are as follows:

Ex dividend date	24 February 2010
Record date	26 February 2010
Payment date	26 March 2010
