Board changes

Frontier IP, which specialises in the commercialisation of university intellectual property, is pleased to announce two Board appointments, which both take immediate effect. James Fish has been appointed to the Company as Finance Director and Michael Bourne has been appointed to the Company as a Non-Executive Director.

James Fish, a chartered accountant, has over 25 years' experience in senior financial positions and a wide range of commercial experience including venture capital funded small/medium-sized enterprises and start-up companies. He was latterly interim Finance Director at The One Place Capital Limited, an online technology start-up. He qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG and holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. James's appointment enables Marilyn Cole to step down as Finance Director and Company Secretary. James will also be appointed Company Secretary.

Michael Bourne has almost 30 years' experience in investment management and particular expertise in technology, life sciences and clean technology. He is currently Partner of Accretion Capital LLP and a Director of Cygna Negra Limited and Cygna Negra Malta Limited. He is also an Advisory Board Member of V2R, the US technology transfer venture company. Prior to these roles, in 1995, he founded asset management company, Reabourne Technology Investments Limited, where he was also Chief Investment Officer. For nine years until 2009, he was also a member of the techMARK Advisory Committee.

Jim brings over 25 years' experience as a senior finance professional and his involvement with start-up companies as well as venture capital funded SMEs is especially useful. Mike has substantial experience in investment management and his expertise in the clean energy and life sciences sectors also represents an excellent fit with Frontier IP's activities.

As well as welcoming Jim and Mike, I would also like to acknowledge Marilyn's significant contribution to Frontier IP during her time as Finance Director of the Company. She leaves with the Board's best wishes and grateful thanks."

The following information is required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.

James Milne Fish, aged 56, is or has been a director or partner of the following companies during the previous five years:

In addition, as an interim finance director, Mr Fish has undertaken in the previous five years a finance director role with The One Place Capital Limited, McLaren Software Group Limited and Photo Therapeutics Group Limited. Photo Therapeutics Group Limited entered into a Voluntary Members Liquidation in March 2009, after the return of funds to shareholders following a trade sale of the operating subsidiary.

Mr Fish is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Mr Fish currently has no beneficial interest in the share capital of the Company.

There are no other matters which are required to be announced with regard to the appointment of Mr Fish under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.

Michael Gerald Bourne, aged 55, is or has been a director or partner of the following companies during the previous five years:

Mr Bourne currently has no beneficial interest in the share capital of the Company.

There are no other matters which are required to be announced with regard to the appointment of Mr Bourne under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
