Falkland Oil and Gas Limited22 February 2006 Falkland Oil and Gas Limited Holding in Company Falkland Oil and Gas Limited (the "Company") has been informed that on 21February 2006 Falkland Islands Holdings plc sold 1,802,941 ordinary shares of0.0002p each ("Shares") in the Company at 135p per Share representing 1.96 percent. of the current issued share capital. Following this notification, Falkland Islands Holdings plc has a holding of15,000,000 Shares representing 16.34 per cent. of the current issued sharecapital and has advised the Company and KBC Peel Hunt that it does not intend todispose of any further shares in the Company, other than in exceptionalcircumstances, for at least the next 12 months. The Company also announces that on 21 February 2006 David Hudd disposed of100,000 Shares in the Company at 135p per Share representing 0.11 per cent. ofthe current issued share capital. Following this notification, David Hudd has aholding of 200,000 Shares representing 0.22 per cent. of the current issuedshare capital. He also holds options over a further 450,000 Shares.
