FTSE Sector Reclassification
The Board of Falkland Islands Holdings plc announces that the FTSE Global Classification Committee and Dow Jones have officially reclassified the business from the 'Retail' sector to that of 'Support Services'.
The FTSE Committee and Dow Jones recognise that the principal activities of the business are involved in transport services, logistical services and a provider of various services to the Falkland Islands.
The reclassification was effective from 20 March 2009.
