Accordingly, Lord Saatchi confirms today that he will step down as Chairman, andfrom the Board, with effect from 30 April 2008. He will be replaced by DavidMarshall who has been Deputy Chairman of the Group since its creation in 2002.David will be assisted in his role by Paul Monk, who continues as DeputyChairman - an appointment he took up in February 2007. Lord Saatchi has been the Chairman of Finsbury Food Group for over five years,during which time he has overseen the Company's development into a major playerin the UK cake, bread and gluten free markets. The Group is now the secondlargest UK cake supplier to the UK's multiple grocers, and also the largestsupplier of gluten free baked goods to the UK's multiple grocers. David has extensive experience as director of a number of listed companies. Heis the Chairman of Creston plc and of London Finance & Investment Group plc,both of which are fully listed on the London Stock Exchange, and Chairman ofAIM-listed Western Selection PLC. He is also a director of a number of otherfully listed and AIM-listed companies such Northbridge Industrial Services Plcand various private limited companies.
