Forum Energy Plc16 March 2007 16 March 2007 FORUM ENERGY PLC ("Forum" or "the Company") Maya well workover Forum (AIM symbol: FEP), the Philippine focussed independent oil, gas and coalexploration and production company, today announces the commencement of theworkover of the Forum-2X well at Barangay Maya, Cebu, Philippines, following anextensive refurbishment of the Company's Hycalog Drilling Rig. Forum-2X was drilled in 2003 to a total depth of 1,732 feet. The wellencountered multiple hydrocarbon bearing zones, including a 34-foot netsandstone layer from the gross interval of 1,570-1,610 feet. A flow rate of217,000 standard cubic feet of gas per day was achieved at that time. Further news will be released as appropriate.
