Frenkel Topping Group PLC10 July 2007 Frenkel Topping Group plc Appointment of Non-Executive Director Frenkel Topping Group plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointmentof William Hughes CBE as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. William is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of Fairfax I.S. PLC, aninvestment bank and member of The London Stock Exchange. William was the Chairman of Grampian Holdings PLC from 1985 to 1998, havingpreviously been Chief Executive from 1976. He was also Non Executive Chairmanof Aberforth Smaller Companies Trust PLC for 15 years until his retirement in2005. William is a Trustee of the Prince's Trust UK Council and Chairman of thePrince's Trust (Scotland). In addition he has been a director of the Foundationfor Accountancy and Financial Management representing the Scottish Institute ofChartered Accountants and served as the Chairman of the CBI (Scotland). William Young Hughes, aged 67, is also a director of Fairfax InvestmentManagement Ltd, Cashbox Plc, The Princes Scottish Youth Business Trust,Strathcarron Hospice and 23-25 Lowndes Square Limited. During the past five years William has also been a director of Savoy AssetManagement Plc, Aberforth Smaller Companies Trust Plc, Develica ManagementLimited, Tactica Management Limited and Tactica Fund PLC. Between 31 May 1989 and 15 August 1990 he was a director of Megap Limited whichwent into receivership in July 1990. The amount involved was estimated at thetime to be less than £500,000. There is no further information to be disclosed under Schedule 2 (g) of the AIMRules.
