The Board of First Derivatives plc ("First Derivatives" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Paul Henry Kinney, aged 41, will be joining the First Derivatives Board as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. 

Paul was an Advisory Partner in the UK with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has almost 20 years of business advisory experience and has specialised in the provision of accounting, regulatory and risk management advice to clients in the financial services, utilities, telecoms and manufacturing sectors. Paul spent almost four years in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong working with large investment banking clients in their securities trading, broker dealing and middle office functions. His responsibilities included advising clients on internal control systems, accounting risks, investigative accounting techniques and regulatory breaches. He has also been responsible for preparing and presenting financial and other information on behalf of his clients to assist in regulatory settlements. 

Commenting on the appointment, David Anderson, Chairman of the Company said, "Paul brings a wealth of experience from his accounting and consultancy background which will be invaluable as we continue to grow the business of First Derivatives."
