Transaction in own Shares
27 May 2014- Experian plc, the global information services company, hereby announces that, on 27 May 2014, 2,168,198 ordinary shares of 10 US cents each in the Company ("ordinary shares") were transferred from treasury to RBC cees International Limited, the administrator of Experian's share plans, for nil consideration, to be used to meet obligations under employee share plans.
The Company's capital consists of 1,031,644,979 ordinary shares of 10 US cents each with voting rights and 20 deferred shares of 10 US cents each which have no voting rights. Experian plc holds 37,468,421 shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Experian plc is 994,176,558.
The figure of 994,176,558 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company's shares under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of Listing Rule 12.6.4.
