EPE Special Opportunities plc (the "Company") announces that, on 13 March 2013, it purchased a total of 10,000 shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 60.25 pence per share.

The number of Ordinary Shares in issue following the above and the figure to be used as the denominator for calculations of interests in the Company's voting rights is 28,189,360 Ordinary Shares.
