Electrica informs the investors and shareholders that, on 3 January 2022, the mandate agreement as Chief Financial Officer of Mr. Mihai Darie, will effectively terminate upon the end of the 4-year duration.
At the same time, during the meeting held on 3 January 2022, the Board of Directors of the Company decided the nomination of Mr. Stefan-Alexandru Frangulea, Romanian citizen, as interim CFO, starting with 4 January 2022 until 31 December 2022.
Stefan-Alexandru Frangulea has over 20 years of experience in the financial-banking and energy sectors, in areas such as: corporate banking, corporate treasury, corporate finance, strategy, financial and capital markets, general management, business development, in executive and management positions.
In February 2018, Mr. Frangulea joined the Electrica team, as Director of the Treasury Department. Also, from the spring of 2019, Mr. Frangulea was a member of the Boards of Directors of the three distribution subsidiaries within Electrica Group, SDEE Transilvania Nord SA, SDEE Transilvania Sud SA and SDEE Muntenia Nord SA. Following the merger of these three subsidiaries, at the end of 2020, Stefan-Alexandru Frangulea is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Distributie Energie Electrica Romania S.A.
