At today's Annual General Meeting of Electric Word plc, the specialist information publisher, Chairman Peter Rigby said:

"Electric Word has enjoyed a positive start to the year in each of its Professional Education, Sport Business and Specialist Consumer operating divisions. Current trading for the Group continues to be in line with the Board's expectations and ahead of the same period last year."
