Purchase of Own Shares
Further to the confirmation of its intention to implement a share buyback programme, as set out in its announcement on 29 March 2022, the Company announces that it has purchased a total of 1,000,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 42.55 pence per share. The ordinary shares purchased will be held in treasury.

Total voting rights
Following the purchase, the Company's total issued share capital will consist of 463,930,564 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") each carrying one voting right, of which 5,950,000 Ordinary Shares are held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares carrying voting rights will be 457,980,564. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
