EG Solutions plc14 July 2005 eg solutions plc (the "Company") Employee share options The Remuneration Committee of the Company has, today, granted 216,000 options to subscribe for shares at a price of 102.5p (closing price on 13 July 2005) each, representing 1.5% per cent of the current issued share capital of the Company across all full time employees of the Company excluding directors pursuant to the Company's EMI scheme. 148,500 options are subject to performance criteria relating to sales and the remaining 67,500 options are subject to performance criteria based on earnings per share growth. These options reflect the commitment made by the Company to introduce an employee wide share option scheme covering 360,000 shares. The Company's Employee Benefit Trust has previously acquired the shares required to cover these options and the remaining 144,000 will be granted at a later date.
