EFG-Hermes Holdings SAE31 July 2006 EFG-Hermes Holding S.A.E Press Release Dr. Mohamed Elwy Taymour has resigned from EFG-Hermes Holding Company's Board ofDirectors due to his recent involvement in a family business relating toinvestment banking and his appointment to the Board of Directors of the EgyptianCapital Market Authority. The Board of Directors has approved the replacement of Dr. Taymour by Mr. RobertEichfeld as a non-executive member of the Board. Mr. Eichfeld comes withextensive experience within the financial sector, where he spent 33 years withCitibank across the globe including holding the Managing Director position ofthe Saudi Arabian American Bank (SAMBA) for several years.
