INDEPENDENT RESOURCES PLC (THE "COMPANY")

DIRECTOR  SHAREHOLDING

The Company was notified on 30th September 2008 that Alexandra Nash, wife of Grayson Nash (Chairman of the Company), purchased 58,000 of the Company's ordinary shares at 86.03 pence per share on 30th September 2008.

Following this purchase, Grayson Nash is interested in 6,095,350 of the Company's ordinary shares, representing approximately 14.97% per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. 

The Company was also notified on 30th September 2008 that Janine James, wife of Timothy James (a Director of the Company) purchased 18,550 ordinary shares in the Company at 85.5 pence per share on 30th September 2008.

Following this purchase, Timothy Bidewell James is interested in 146,991 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.36 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
