ACAL plc 

SEMICONDUCTOR CONTRACT TERMINATION

Acal has been notified by one of its semiconductor suppliers to the electronics division that it is terminating Acal's distribution contract. Termination will take effect from 30 April 2009.

This product line represents approximately 4% of group revenue and 3% of gross margin.

As stated in our Interim Management Statement dated 23 January, we are carrying out a review of Acal's business and strategy and will factor this contract loss into the review.
