Senior management appointment
Dev Clever, a leading developer of online and immersive career guidance, learning and development platforms, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Brocklesby as Director of Finance - Group. Mike will report to Dev Clever's CFO, Nick Ydlibi, and be responsible for all aspects of external and internal financial reporting. He will support the executive and wider senior management team in the development and delivery of the Group's stated growth strategy.
Mike is a Chartered Accountant with 30 years' financial and operating experience, having qualified with KPMG. He has spent the last seven and a half years as Finance Director of Synectics Security Limited (formerly Quadrant Security Group) - a wholly owned subsidiary of AIM-listed Synectics PLC - one of the UK's largest independent security systems integrators.

He previously served as CFO for uDate.com, a UK-based, US-listed subscription-driven internet company that was acquired by InterActiveCorp for $150m in 2003. Thereafter, he was VP Finance & Operations for Soflow, Inc., an internet start-up providing a web-based business networking tool, which raised $6.125m in venture capital funding from investors based in Boston, USA.

Mike has also held a variety of finance and operational roles across various industries, including engineering, aerospace and media.

Mike has been granted options ("Options") to acquire 852,660 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). The Options, granted under the Company's EMI scheme on 1 December 2021, are exercisable at a price of 30 pence per ordinary share. These Options are subject to continuous employment; one third of the Options being exercisable on the first anniversary of grant, one third exercisable on the second anniversary of grant; and one third exercisable on the third anniversary of grant. The Options expire on 1 December 2031 if not exercised.

The Options represent approximately 0.14 per cent of the current issued share capital of the Company. Following the grant of the Options, the total number of Ordinary Shares outstanding under option arrangements is 28,488,023, representing 4.72 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

The wealth of experience gained having successfully provided hundreds of digital consumer and employee incentive experiences for global brands, businesses, and educators via the Company's proprietary platform, Engage, is now focused on enabling employers to better engage with existing employees to up-skill them and to identify their future workforce via the Launchmycareer.com platform. The division is being re-branded to Launchmycareer.com Professional Services.
