DCD Media Plc ("DCD" or the "Company") AGM Statement
At the Annual General Meeting of DCD Media Plc, the independent producer and distributor of arts, entertainment, music and drama TV programming, to be held at 2:00 p.m. today David Elstein, Chairman, will make the following statement:
"All operating divisions have been engaged in major broadcast projects, exemplified by Christmas transmissions of three big music specials on ITV1 together with a Beatles documentary and 'Wind in the Willows' (starring Matt Lucas and Bob Hoskins) on BBCOne. This is in aggregate substantially the highest-value seasonal airing ever achieved by our operating subsidiaries (before or after they became part of the DCD group). Our production divisions also have a full slate of large-scale projects in the pipeline, contributing to a favourable outlook for them into FY2008."
